Taylor Elementary P.E.  

Physical Education classes are an important part of the school day at Taylor Elementary.  We provide students with a wide variety of activities that allow them to have fun while getting their heart rate up and preparing them for a life of healthy living.  We strive to offer age-appropriate instruction in order to increase cardio-vascular health, lower stress, increase self-esteem, prevent obesity and develop good character traits in learning to cooperate and play with others.
In addition to our regular class activities, we give students the opportunity to “sharpen their saw” by participating in other activities such as Punt, Pass and Kick, and the Big Country 5th Grade Track Meet.  Our Wellness Running program is also a student favorite where they enjoy running, jogging and walking fast on the track while getting their heart rate up and earning mileage ribbons for their success.
