Thomasville

Thomasville is unique to Thomas Elementary.  It is a mini, functioning town complete with bank, hospital gift shop, and bookstore.  Thomasville is a great way for our students to be involved in reading, learning, and serving.  Our main hallway is filled with students who help serve our school community and who learn important skills.

Fifth graders interview for jobs with our adopters who support Thomasville.  These fifth graders then work in six week shifts to run this amazing town.  They practice social and work related skills while interacting with the rest of the student body.

Every student at Thomas is allowed to earn and accumulate Accelerated Reader points to spend at one of our seven businesses.  Thomasville is truly an exceptional experience!
