We're pleased to share that every student in Abilene ISD will once again enjoy a health breakfast and lunch at no cost during the 2025-26 school year through the Community Eligibility Program.

While breakfast and lunch are free, families may still choose to add money to meal accounts for extra items like snacks and beverages. Here’s what’s new for the upcoming school year:

  • Cash kiosks removed: The cash kiosk machines previously located in middle and high school cafeterias have been removed.

  • Cash still accepted: Students may still pay with cash directly at the cafeteria register.

  • Online payments encouraged: Families can add funds online through MySchoolBucks.com.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to make school meals simple and accessible for all.
