As STAAR testing approaches, Abilene ISD would like to remind families of the upcoming testing dates for students across the district.
Below is a schedule of upcoming STAAR testing dates:
Reading Language Arts (RLA)
April 8: 5th grade and 8th grade
April 9: 4th grade and 7th grade
April 10: 3rd grade and 6th grade
April 14: English I EOC
April 15: English II EOC
April 9–17: Make-up testing
Science & Social Studies
April 14: Science (5th grade and 8th grade)
April 16: Social Studies (8th grade)
April 21: Biology EOC
April 22: U.S. History EOC
April 15–24: Make-up testing
Mathematics
April 21: 5th grade and 8th grade (including Algebra I EOC)
April 22: 4th grade and 7th grade
April 23: 3rd grade and 6th grade
April 28: Algebra I EOC (high school)
April 22–May 1: Make-up testing
Families are encouraged to ensure students are present, well-rested, and ready on their scheduled testing days. Campuses will provide additional information and support as needed.
