The 2026–27 Honors and AP Summer Reading List is now available for students enrolled in eligible Honors and Advanced Placement English courses. Students are expected to complete their assigned reading before the first day of school.
This year’s list includes reading assignments for 7th Grade Honors, 8th Grade Honors, 9th Grade Honors, 10th Grade Honors, 11th Grade AP Language and Composition, and 12th Grade AP Literature, with selections that vary by campus in some high school courses.
Please note: students who switch into an Honors or AP class during the first grading period will also be required to complete the summer reading. That note appears on the list itself as well.
