For students enrolled in a Theatre Arts Class, Abilene High Theatre is excited to announce auditions for the upcoming fall play, You Can’t Take It With You, a comedy by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart.
Auditions will be at the Abilene High Auditorium, August 4 from 9AM-noon, with possible callbacks on August 6 at 1pm. Students enrolled in a theatre arts class can go to the AHT website (
https://abilenehightheatre.com/) and click on the links for instructions on how to audition. Students who want to serve on the technical (backstage) crew are invited to a short meeting directly after auditions at 12pm on August 4.
The fall production is limited to student who are enrolled in a theatre or technical theatre class, however, we hope you will join for the 2027 all-school musical, Mary Poppins! All Abilene High students are welcome to be a part of this favorite AHS tradition. More information about Mary Poppins auditions will be available at a later date.
