Building Brighter Futures!

As part of Abilene ISD’s ongoing commitment to innovation through our Building Brighter Futures strategic planning initiative, we are excited to introduce campus Circles for all AISD elementary schools, a new school relationship model designed to better support students, teachers, and campus leaders.

You may have already heard about campus Circles in AISD during the 2024-25 school year as part of our school choice pilot program. While that pilot program has not expanded beyond Circle 1 just yet, we want you to know that we are also utilizing the Circles model to organize our elementary schools into regional cross-campus collaboration groups. In addition to eventually expanding school choice options for AISD parents and families, the Circles model will immediately provide teaching and learning benefits by enhancing instructional support and strengthening services for all of our elementary-age learners.

Each Circle will feature:

  • Dedicated, core content-specific instructional coaches

  • Increased educator collaboration to share best practices and innovative strategies

  • Targeted support for GT (Gifted and Talented) services and bilingual learners

Starting in the 2025-26 school year, AISD’s four elementary-level Circles will be:

Circle 1
Martinez
Purcell
Stafford

Circle 2
Taylor
Bowie
Ortiz
Thomas

Circle 3
Austin
Alcorta
Ward

Circle 4
Bassetti
Dyess
Bonham

We look forward to sharing more updates as we continue working together to build brighter futures for all Abilene ISD students!
