Alcorta Elementary school received a triple star award today for the performance of our 5th grade math students. The triple star award is given for having an increase in the number 5th grade students performing at the meets level on STAAR one year to the next, exceeding the district average, and exceeding the state average!!!! 👏👏 We are so proud of the amazing work done by our students and their teacher Mrs. Chaney! A shout-out also goes to all of our math teachers and two of our math tutors, Marcy Choate and Allison Josselet, who have worked with this group of students over the years! Way to go Buffaloes!
