Six deserving Abilene ISD employees were celebrated in the first round of Employee Awards for the 2025-26 school year. The award program, which launched during the 2024-25 school year, recognizes AISD staff members who demonstrate the district's Strategic Priorities: fostering collaboration, promoting active classroom engagement, and building strong partnerships with the school community.

Employees are recognized among six categories:

  • Teacher

  • New Teacher

  • Student Support

  • Auxiliary

  • Paraprofessional

  • Substitute

AISD's Employee Awards program is generously sponsored by First Financial Bank, who provides each award winner with a $100 gift card.

The second round of 2025-26 Employee Awards will open Wednesday, Oct. 20. For more information on AISD's Employee Awards program, click here.
