Abilene ISD is proud to announce the district's new initiative to elevate AISD as the district of choice in Abilene and the Big Country: Building Brighter Futures.

Building Brighter Futures is a result of a community-based listening process that began in the fall of 2024 with the goal to develop a deep understanding of what AISD parents, families, students, staff, and community members desire for the future of our schools. The result of the process was a creation of a set of success criteria that will guide meaningful innovation in AISD moving forward.
