Get ready for the 2026-27 school year! Annual registration for returning students and new student enrollment begins April 14, 2026.
Registration for Returning Students
Annual registration is required for all returning students. Families can complete registration by logging into their Frontline Parent Portal. Registration must be completed for each student.
Registering early helps schools plan for staffing and resources and benefits families by:
Receiving timely back-to-school updates and important dates
Accessing teacher assignments as soon as they’re available
Securing transportation assignments, including bus routes and pickup times
New Student Enrollment
We look forward to welcoming our newest students, including those entering pre-k, kindergarten, and families new to AISD.
If your child has not previously attended AISD, please have the following documents ready:
Birth certificate
Social security number
Immunization records
Parent/guardian ID
Proof of residence (utility bill, lease, or mortgage documentation)
New families will first create a Frontline Parent Portal account, then upload required documents and complete enrollment forms. To find the school in your family’s attendance zone, click here.
School Choice Transfers
School Choice Transfers for AISD elementary families will reopen April 14-24.
School Choice Transfers are part of the district’s Building Brighter Futures initiative. AISD elementary families now have more flexibility in choosing where their child attends school. Students may attend their zoned campus or select another school within their assigned Circle.
Note: Families interested in submitting a School Choice Transfer application should also complete new student enrollment or annual registration through the Frontline Parent Portal.
