Abilene ISD will transition from Remind to ParentSquare as the district’s school-to-home communications platform beginning with the 2026–27 school year.
ParentSquare will help bring district and campus communication into one consistent, easy-to-use platform for families and staff. With ParentSquare, families can receive updates by email, text, phone call, and the free mobile app. The platform also allows families to view calendar events and announcements, send and receive direct messages, sign forms, schedule conferences, and access information in their preferred language.
Families may begin receiving invitations to activate their ParentSquare accounts before the new school year. Families are encouraged to follow the instructions in the invitation, download the ParentSquare app, and make sure their phone number and email address are up to date with their student’s campus.
