Abilene ISD will host a districtwide Enrollment Event on July 23 and 24 at the Abilene Convention Center to help families complete enrollment and registration for the 2026–27 school year.

This free, come-and-go event will give families the opportunity to enroll, ask questions, connect with campuses and departments, and explore district and community resources, all in one place. Families are encouraged to bring their children, and Kona Ice snow cones will be available for purchase during the event.

The following documents are required to enroll or register their student:

• Student birth certificate

• Student Social Security card

• Legal parent/guardian photo ID

• Proof of residence, such as a current water, gas or electric utility bill, lease, or mortgage statement

Immunizations will be available on site through the Abilene Health Department. Uninsured students and those with BCBS PPO, United Health Care, and Medicaid will be accepted. Please note that a parent or guardian must be present for a student to receive an immunization.
