Name & Meaning

“Altruismo” is Portuguese for “the givers.” This house embodies generosity, service, and the belief that true power comes from helping others succeed.

Origin & Heritage

Altruismo traces its roots to the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil, symbolizing mystery, wisdom, and compassion. Its heritage reminds members that strength is found in humility and the courage to uplift others.

Mascot & Symbolic Animal

The black snake is the symbolic animal of Altruismo. Representing knowledge, transformation, and energy, the snake sheds its skin as a sign of growth—teaching members that selflessness often leads to renewal and wisdom.

Crest & Symbols

• Color: Altruismo’s official color is black (Pantone Black 6; HEX #000000), representing power, prestige, and the strength that comes from giving.

• Heart: Positioned at the top of the crest, the heart represents purity and kindness—the starting point of generosity.
