AISD 2018 COMMENCEMENT SCHEDULE

  • Cooper High School - Saturday, June 2, 10 a.m.
  • Abilene High School - Saturday, June 2, 2 p.m.
  • ATEMS High School - Saturday, June 2, 6 p.m.


All Events Streamed Live on Facebook

Doors will open 1 hour before the ceremony, 1 hour and 45 mins for guests with accessibility needs. Seating is first-come, first-serve basis. Please do not take your seats until your entire party is present. No reserving or saving seats is allowed.

Misty Miller Honored As Bus Driver of the Year

  Misty Miller

Abilene ISD bus driver Misty Miller was honored as the 2017-18 Bus Driver of the Year by the Property Casualty Alliance of Texas.

Miller, who has worked for AISD since 2014, was recognized for the award at the April meeting of the AISD Board of Trustees.

According to PCAT, the award was based upon multiple driver attributes, including leadership, attitude, perseverance, student and parent relationships and technical skill.
