Winter Storm Recovery Services

ABILENE – The Abilene ISD has put together a page of information for families who are still suffering the after-effects of last week’s winter storm that caused billions of dollars of damage throughout the state and shut down AISD schools for an entire week.

AISD Lead Social Worker Tina Fleet and her team in Student and Family Support Services went to work helping families who might have been without water or power for significant periods of time, and there is now a page of information that can be found here to help guide those who still need help, whether it be finding food, a plumber to fix broken pipes or water.

Those experiencing difficulties with their SNAP food benefits will also find a number to call or a website to use for more information.
