Welcome to Taylor Elementary, home of the Mighty Trojans!!  Since opening in 1955, Taylor has established and maintained a tradition of excellence and enthusiasm for learning in AISD. We are also a Lighthouse School in the Leader in Me Program!

We are located in the northeast corner of Abilene, where we serve 600+ students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Our community consist of a diverse group that works together to achieve a united purpose.  The goal is to serve and educate our students to achieve their full potential.

Taylor is an Exemplary school in Abilene.  We have received Gold Performance Awards in reading, writing and science.  Our business and community partners work with us to make Taylor a great place to learn.
