Bonham Bulldogs

As always, the safety and security of AISD students, families, teachers and staff is our top priority. While we know that these are uncertain times, you can be assured that we remain committed to doing everything in our power to protect our school communities. We can’t wait to see our students again and look forward to a successful 2021-22 school year in the AISD!

Speak Up for Safety

Some examples of reasons to reach out for help for yourself or others are bullying, violence, personal health, suicide prevention, or a crisis at home. If this is an emergency or life-threatening to the student or others, please call 911.

Get Excited! AISD

Almost two of every three voters said “YES!” to our students in the 2018 bond election. They approved plans to spend $138.6 million on new facilities that will benefit elementary, middle and high school students for many years. The NEW facilities for academics, athletics, and the arts will help our dedicated teachers continue the quality education our students deserve.

Bonham News & Events

Welcome to Bonham Elementary School!  We are excited to be a LIGHTHOUSE – Leader in Me school.  The Leader in Me schools teach Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to provide students and educators the tools they need to succeed in school and in life.  Reminders of the seven habits and leadership quotes decorate our school, and educators plan to guide students in developing the habits throughout the year.

One tool students and faculty will use to develop leadership skills is the Leadership Notebook.  Through use of the notebooks, all Bonham Bulldogs will showcase progress and pinpoint areas in which improvement is needed.  During the spring semester, each child will share their progress with their parents through a student-led conference.  We are excited to build on this initiative and look forward to encouraging students to take greater responsibility for their learning.  During the  school year, our student leaders will be encouraged to develop these habits:

Be Proactive

Begin With the End in Mind

Put First Things First

Think Win-Win

Seek First to Understand, Then be Understood

Synergize

 Sharpen the Saw

Find Your Voice!

At Bonham, our goal is to achieve excellence in leadership and scholarship.

Join us in making Bonham the best it can be.
