Board Action on Surplus Properties (2:48:47)

Following last month’s discussion, the Board passed a resolution authorizing additional proceedings on the district’s surplus properties.

Over the next 6-8 weeks, the district will have the properties appraised in order to determine a fair market value. Following the appraisal, the Board will determine if the district will move forward in the sale of the properties by entering into bidding proceedings.

The properties up for consideration are Fannin Elementary School (located at 2726 N. 18th and originally constructed in 1951) and the Woodson Early Childhood building (located at 520 N. 9th and originally constructed in 1936).
