The Student Councils of ATEMS, Abilene High and Cooper teamed up in September to help students from a South Texas elementary school that was damaged by Hurricane Harvey.

To help replenish school supplies for the children of Rancho Isabella Elementary School in Angleton, donations were collected by student council students at the three campuses from Sept. 11 through Sept. 15. Volunteers then delivered the supplies to the elementary school at the end of the supply drive.

Among the items collected ATEMS, AHS and CHS campuses included elementary school supplies such as pencils, crayons, markers, glue, folders and backpacks.
