Together, students at Cooper High School and Ward Elementary School are bring their own “monsters” to life.

Earlier this year, Keely Ward, Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher at CHS, sent the kindergarten teachers at Ward a paper for each of their students to fill out about a “monster.” The students answered some fun facts about the monster, named them and then drew them.

When finished, the kindergartners sent their creations to CHS students enrolled in Child Development and Fashion classes. The high school students converted the drawings into 3D form, creating pillows with fabric, stitching, buttons and decorations.

To say the least, delivery day on May 2 was fabulously “monstrous” at Ward Elementary.
