“I’m extremely excited to be working with this team. Both the coaches and athletes are great at what they do and understand that nothing comes easy. I’m working hard at instilling the mindset that hard work beats talent, and that if we’re not getting better every day, we’re only getting worse. However, it sure helps that we do have a lot of talent here as well. There’s a mindset of hard work and dedication to the sport, that I can’t wait to see where it takes the program. We still have much to improve on through the course of the season, but I can see great things coming to Abilene High.”
