Holland Medical High School hosted its second annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 21, for all Abilene ISD fifth grade students and their families. Holland HOSA officers, class representatives, and other Holland students helped plan and run the event, which was also open to the public. Teacher and student cars were festively decorated and plenty of candy was available for guests. Other activities include a cookie walk, pumpkin decorating, face-painting, corn hole, costume contests, and tours of the Holland building on the Hardin-Simmons University campus! Students and parents were also treated to goodie bags (including toothbrushes to promote healthy habits!) and popcorn that they enjoyed while on their tour. The winners of the costume contests also received their very own stethoscope! Holland students donated all of the candy and cookies used for the event and all received community service hours for their time serving AISD families. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event fun and successful!
