Sara Garza

My name is Sara Garza.  I teach Emergent Bilinguals and multilinguals here at Abilene High. I started teaching in the Fall of 2005 after exiting the military and a career change.  I completed my undergraduate at McMurry University and my Masters in Education from Hardin-Simmons University. Three translators assist here at Abilene High as well as on other campuses:  Mr. Jean Abakiriho, Mr. Douglas Gahungu, and Mr. Albert Kabura.  We teach and work with speakers of Spanish, French, Swahili, Poshto, and Kinyarwanda as well as several other dialects.  We aim to help students learn as much as they are able in a short time, achieve their goals, and become exceptional community and global citizens.  Parents are welcome. Please contact me to schedule a conference.
