We’re happy you’re here
If you are part of a military family who has been transferred to Dyess AFB, we’re here for you. Any parent or guardian who is an active-duty member of the United States Armed Forces or Reserve Armed Forces may enroll children in Abilene ISD schools.
To get started, please contact AISD Student Services (uluwehi.lauritaurata@abileneisd.org). Be prepared to tell us where you plan to live and the ages of your children to be enrolled with us, and we will let you know which campuses your students may attend. We will also notify the campuses so they are prepared to support you.
Thank you for joining Abilene ISD! We look forward to helping you and your children experience an easy transition into our schools and community. If you have any questions, please call AISD Student Services at 325.677.1444, ext. 8764.

MEMORIAL PARK @ DYESS
The district will build AISD Memorial Park on the property of Dyess Elementary School in order to honor veterans from the AISD who have passed away.
The Abilene ISD has a feedback form set up for family and friends to provide as much detail about their loved one or friend that they would like to see memorialized on the wall.
