If you are part of a military family who has been transferred to Dyess AFB, we’re here for you. Any parent or guardian who is an active-duty member of the United States Armed Forces or Reserve Armed Forces may enroll children in Abilene ISD schools.
To get started, please contact AISD Student Services (jacqueline.mahar@abileneisd.org). Be prepared to tell us where you plan to live and the ages of your children to be enrolled with us, and we will let you know which campuses your students may attend. We will also notify the campuses so they are prepared to support you.

Diane is here to help parents ease the impact of the mobile military lifestyle on their children. She provides information prior to a move, upon arrival, and while stationed at an installation. One of the important roles of the School Liaison Officer is to connect families, schools, and the military community in order to facilitate the educational transition and academic experience of military children.
