Hello! My name is Melanie Koen. I have been teaching since 2015-2016 school year. I graduated with a BS in Mathematics from McMurry University. I love math and hope to pass that on to my students! Currently I teach Algebra 1, Algebra 1 Honors, and Math Models. I am married and I have two young children, boy and girl! The goal of my class is for my students to gain their confidence in math while experiencing mutual respect in a positive classroom environment.
