Greetings! My names is James McGee. I have been married to my wife since 1989 and have four kids and three grandchildren. I retired from the Air Force after 20 years in 2007 and have been teaching in AISD since then. I received my BAS degree from Abilene Christian University in English Education and my Master of Arts degree in English from the same. I have taught 7th grade English at Madison MS, 9th grade Pre-AP and on level English at Cooper HS, 11th and 12th grade English, AP Literature & Composition (also dual credit through Angelo State), AP Seminar, and AP Research at Abilene High. When I'm not teaching at Abilene High I love to camp and hike in state and national parks around the country. My wife and I love travelling and I have visited 23 countries on five continents (lived in three countries other than the US). My passion is teaching literature and writing. I also teach an English course at Abilene Christian University as an adjunct instructor.
