Hello!  I am Rachel Perkins and this year I am teaching PAP Algebra 1, Algebra 2,  and DC/AP Statistics.  This will be my 17th year working for AISD, and my 9th year at Abilene HS.  Previously I have been on the Travis and Clack campuses, as well as 18 years teaching math at Abilene Christian University while my children were small. I am slow getting started this school year, as my husband and I were in a car accident in Baird as we were returning to Abilene from Tennessee where I was caring for my mother.  Soon I will have more detailed and hopefully helpful information for you!  My first day will be Monday, September 7, but I am still moving in slow motion. It is my plan to get all of your classroom materials organized for you on Google Classroom as soon as possible, in case you have some things you need to catch up or review.  I'm not sure what tutorials will look like for us this school year, and that is one of the things I'll be figuring out ASAP. I look forward to doing math with you, but mostly I look forward to getting to know you very soon!
