Principal
Welcome to Woodson Center for Excellence, I am honored to be a part of this community of students and teachers! I look forward to making sure all students are successful academically as well as contributing positively to their social emotional well-being.
My career as teacher started at Eula Elementary where I taught first grade. I stayed at Eula one year and then moved to Abilene ISD and have remained for the past 23 years. In this time period I taught math for 17 years, been an Assistant Principal for 4 years, an Instructional Specialist for 2 years and am now currently serving as Principal for Woodson. All of the assignments hold a place in my heart, always striving to help struggling students become successful with a destination of graduation.
I look forward to building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. I am committed to ensuring that every Woodson student receive the very best education possible in their journey towards success.
I feel truly blessed to be the principal of such a special school community.
