Education: BA in Spanish and Education- Texas Tech University 2003. Masters In Bilingual Education/ ESL 2008. Experience: This is my 21st year teaching and 3rd year teaching Spanish in Abilene. I taught English and Spanish in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, for ten years and then taught Spanish Language Arts, Spanish 2 Pre-AP, 3 Pre-AP, and Spanish 4 AP for 8 years in Lubbock, Texas. About Me: I was born in Los Angeles, California, but grew up mainly in Lubbock, Texas. I learned Spanish while living in Quito, Ecuador, for 2 years in college. I lived and worked in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, for 10 years, and my children grew up in Mexico. My husband, Omar, is an ACU professor, and I have two children, Emma and Maicah. I love to travel, exercise, play any fun sport, spend time with my family, and read and write. I am excited to help your student continue on their journey of learning.
