Hello, my name is Laura Peterson. I was born and raised in Abilene, Texas where I graduated from Cooper High School. My Bachelor's degree is from McMurry University in the area of study in English and Language Arts, and I am certified to teach 4th through 8th grade. I have been with Abilene ISD, 7th grade English at Clack Middle School for 4 years and prior to that Hawley ISD K-5 Computer Lab for 5 years. I will be teaching 7th  grade English and Reading Lab. In addition, I will also be starting a club specific to my campus called Girl Talk. I look forward to the new school year and serving my students where they need me!
