CIS at Mann
Communities in Schools at Mann is designed and desires to build transformative and trusting relationships with students that allows them to discover and amplify their potential. We advocate for their potential across school, community, and family—creating access to resources and opportunities that help them see, confront, and overcome the barriers that stand between them and their future. With the growth and success of our students at the center, we work every day to make goals, improvements, and increase motivation all as steppingstones to a happy and healthy future.
A Mann Falcon’s Perspective:
“CIS has helped me by being able to be close to a adult on campus and being able to feel safe to talk, come in, or even to ask for help. I’ve enjoyed my past 2 years being able to be apart of CIS when I needed a place to cool down or to even just talk. Thats not the only thing, I have truly been helped by CIS when i needed help in school with missing work or failing grades. CIS isn’t only for school help however but it also helped me with any basic needs as in clothing and down to shoes and hygiene items. CIS has not only helped me with basic needs but gave me a safe place to express myself and be able to care for me and even for my family. CIS is a great program for any student in need for things you need or even to have a safe place. CIS for me personally has helped me the most and will always be my go to when i need something.”
