Bassetti Elementary’s Special Education Programs are set up to help students on their specific ability level. Students may receive Special Education services based on assessments and individual need. All of our Special Education teachers use different techniques and adapted materials to teach their students. Students are taught based on their specific needs in order to meet state standards and academic goals. We also have 3 self contained classes for students who have difficulty functioning in a general education setting. “PALS” stands for Practical Academics and Living Skills. “AIM” stands for Achievers in Motion. Other services offered through Special Education are Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Music Therapy.
