Hello! My name is Jessica Atwood, and I’m super excited to be teaching 6th grade science at Craig Middle School! This will be my 10th year teaching. I Graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. My teaching experience includes high school experience in Amarillo, TX at Palo Duro High School, 6th-8th grade experience at Springlake-Earth High School, and four years at Abilene High school. This is my first year back in middle school and at Craig. I am married to a football/baseball coach and world geography teacher at Abilene High School, and I have 2 young children ( a son and daughter), 2 cats, a basset hound. My classroom “pets” are my plants. Some of my favorite things are coffee, chocolate, and cute school supplies! Some of my favorite things to do are family nights, AHS sporting events, and watching movies! I am excited to be working with the great staff here at Craig Middle School, and I'm ready to meet all of my students soon! Let’s have a GREAT year!
