I am a graduate from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies for early childhood through sixth grade with ESL (English as a Second Language) and Special Education certifications. I became a teacher because I believe that all children can learn, and I want to prove this every day.  I love witnessing my students' faces light up when they have a sense of accomplishment. Also, being a teacher is more enjoyable than all my twelve years as an insurance agent. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family.  I am happily married to an Abilene Firefighter, and we have two beautiful children ages 15 and 13. As a family, we love visiting the beach,  spending time outdoors, watching movies and spending lazy days at home.
