Tutoring

Tutoring at Myra Martinez Elementary will be held before and after school at the classroom teacher’s discretion. Students in tutoring may or may not be failing, but their teacher has determined the student is in need of additional academic strategies. Each teacher sets his/her own schedule. Your child’s classroom teacher will notify you if your child is in need of tutoring.

In-school tutoring is also provided in 15-30 minute sessions by our wonderful auxiliary staff. These sessions are scheduled by the classroom teacher and lessons/activities are prepared to serve each individual student.
