Hello, my name is Katrina Quince, I am a 2nd Grade General Education Teacher. A little about myself, I am a Floridian by birth, but grew up in and around various Army bases. I graduated with my Masters in Counseling and received a second Masters in Early Childhood Education with the English as a Second Language endorsement from Texas State University. Before teaching, I was an Active Duty member of the United States Air Force; prior to coming to Ortiz Elementary, I taught 2nd and 3rd Grade in and around the San Antonio area. I believe every child is unique and deserves a caring, inspiring, and engaging atmosphere to grow emotionally, intellectually, and socially.  As an educator, I want to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing a safe and collaborative environment.  I believe that positive elementary education is essential to creating successful lifelong learners. I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child's growth and development.
