Hello and Welcome to 5th Grade! I am new to Thomas this year and will be teaching Reading Language Arts. I’m looking forward to working with you and your child. I grew up in a small town near Colorado Springs and earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Regis University in Colorado. We moved from Colorado to Wisconsin for my husband’’s career and then eventually moved again to Abilene a few years ago. I enjoy spending time with my family in nature whenever possible. We have two high school age sons, as well as two dogs named Hunter and Bruce and a cat named Artie. I’m excited to get to know your child and I can’t wait to see them grow and learn this year.
