I am so excited to be teaching second grade at Ward Elementary. I have been a teacher for 25 years. I have taught first, second, and fourth grade and I have been a reading interventionist. My husband and I have a 23 year old son and a 19 year old daughter. We live in Abilene with our 2 dogs, Blue and Rambo, and our bunny rabbit, Wally. I have a Bachelor degree in elementary education from Texas Lutheran University and I will graduate this December from Sam Houston State University with a Master degree in reading education. I am certified to teach all subjects in grades 1-8 and I also hold my English as a Second Language certification and a Dyslexia certification from Sam Houston State University.
