Hello!  My name is Crissandra Roberts and I am proud to be the school counselor at Allie Ward Elementary.  I moved to Abilene to attend college and never left because I loved it so much!  I received a Bachelor of Behavioral Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University.  I had the wonderful opportunity to student teach, be a student aide, and teach third grade at Ward before becoming the school counselor.  As the counselor of Ward Elementary, my desire is to ensure that all students in our school know they are cared for and are capable of overcoming challenges and meeting goals.  It is my desire for all of our students to be connected to people who will help them grow.  In addition to classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling and individual counseling, I am also the campus STAAR and 504 coordinator.  I look forward to working with all of our Ward Wildcats and their parents!
