Principal

Hello!  I am excited to serve as the Principal at Austin Elementary.  I am honored to be in this position and look forward to working with the students and families at Austin Elementary. 

I grew up in Abilene and am a proud graduate of Abilene High School.  I received my bachelor’s degree from Hardin Simmons University and M.Ed. from Sul Ross University.  I taught second, third, and fourth grades at Johnston Elementary (later renamed Purcell Elementary in 2021) and became the assistant principal at Austin Elementary in 2021.

When I am not at school, you will find me spending time with my three children, Jaxon, Emma, and Maxanne.  We love spending our days at the pool and playing with our dogs.  

I am incredibly grateful and excited to be part of the Austin Raider family! I look forward to meeting each of you and learning how I can best support you throughout this year.
