Hello!  I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal at Austin Elementary.  I am honored to be in this position and look forward to building relationships with the students and families at Austin Elementary. 

I grew up in Abilene and am a proud graduate of Abilene High School.  I received my bachelors degree from Hardin Simmons University and M.Ed. from Sul Ross University.  I had the privilege of student teaching at Stafford Elementary and began my teaching career at Purcell Elementary in 2010.  I served as a reading intervention teacher, and taught second, third, and fourth grades.  

When I am not at school, you will find me spending time with my three children, Jaxon, Emma, and Maxanne.  We love spending our days at the pool and playing with our dogs.  

I am incredibly grateful and excited to join the Austin Raider family!   I look forward to meeting all of the Raider students and families this coming school year!
