My name is Tina Jones and I am the principal here at Bowie Elementary. I have had the pleasure of being the principal at Bowie since 2008 and continue to love serving all of our Bobcats each day.
Growing up in Abilene, I feel I received one of the best educations possible through AISD from elementary school through high school. I received my Bachelors of Education degree from Hardin Simmons University and my Masters of Education degree from Abilene Christian University. I am married and we have one daughter, Cambrey, who is fortunate to have received a quality education in AISD as well.
At Bowie, we are dedicated to providing a quality education for our students in a positive and safe learning environment where respect is expected at all times from all. Our goal is for it to be clearly evident that our number one priority is the success of our students in all aspects of their lives. Our students, schools, and district benefit most when parents and community become involved with everyone working together as a team. Together, we will recognize and celebrate the greatness of each student and provide them with multiple opportunities to develop to their full potential.
