Third Grade

Third grade is an exciting year for our active learners. It is a transitional year during which our students are encouraged to become more independent thinkers and learners. Our goal is to instill lifelong learning as well as prepare students to successfully take the state’s mandated math and reading tests.

Although we work hard in third grade, we also recognize the importance of providing learning experiences in our community. We are very fortunate to get to participate in field trips to places such as Safety City, the Abilene Zoo, the Philharmonic, and the NCCIL.

When school and home work together, there is nothing that we can’t accomplish. We look forward to a year full of fun and learning with your child.
