Hello, my name is Laurie Brown and I am the Computer Lab manager here at Bowie. I grew up in Washington state and I started working in schools in 2009 when all 3 of my daughters were old enough to go themselves. I worked as a Special Education and Title 1 paraprofessional before my husband got stationed in Hawaii with the US Navy. While there, I worked at the School Age Care center as a Child and Youth Programs Lead/Supervisor on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam.
