ESSER III

Signed into law in March 2021, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER III) provided additional funding to help Abilene ISD support teaching and learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The period of availability for ARP ESSER III grant funds is from March 13, 2020, to September 30, 2024. Districts receiving ESSER III funds are required to maintain documents on their websites, including safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services plans. The folders below contain archival records of Abilene ISD’s ESSER III funds planning, surveys and public forums, and health and safety protocols.
