Early Screening Inventory-Revised (ESI-R)

ESI-R is a screening tool that has been adopted to meet the requirements of Head Start Legislation for a common screening tool. It is individually administered to children from 3 to 6 years of age and is intended to assess the child’s ability to acquire skills rather than the current level of skill achievement and performance.

Children’s Learning Institute (CLI) progress monitoring

The CLI system is used to determine student’s knowledge in key developmental areas. This data collection tool prompts teachers to focus on lessons that target their students’ least developed skills. Conducted up to three times per year, the assessments are sensitive to growth in children’s skills over time.

Devereux Early Childhood Assessment (eDECA)

eDECA is an evidence-based screening to identify concerns regarding a child’s behavioral, social, and emotional skills.
