Angela Valentine

Angela was raised in Abilene and attended schools in AISD as a young girl.  She is a proud Johnston Jaguar, Mann Falcon and an equal mixture of Eagle and Cougar as she attended 2 years each at Abilene High School and Cooper High School. She graduated from CHS in 1992.  She then attended Hardin Simmons University and Abilene Intercollegiate School of Nursing, graduating in 1996 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.  She worked at Hendrick Medical Center while attending college and then continued working on the Medical/Surgical and Urology unit as an RN. 

Angela began her career as a School Nurse in 2003 at Bowie Elementary and was the nurse there for 20 years.  She became Director of Health Services in July 2023. 

Angela and her husband, Marc, have two children.  Zachry is a 2019 graduate of Cooper HS and 2023 graduate of Hardin Simmons University.  Lauren is a student at Cooper HS and will graduate in 2025.
