Adult Education currently offers the following career pathway:
- CNA (Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing)
Students are enrolled, tested, then instructed based on test results. The material is tailored to the individual’s program of interest. If you are studying to be a CNA, instruction includes basic anatomy and physiology, fractions and percents, and basic writing and reading comprehension skills, including some selected early material used in CNA coursework. LVN and RN programs require rigorous algebra and writing. Additional career services are offered (resume writing, how to interview, etc.).
